Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George showed his toughness by returning to Monday night's game against San Antonio after taking an elbow to the face which left him with a bloody nose.
It happened midway through the third quarter with the Clippers holding a 68-67 lead. Spurs forward DeMar DeRozan drove down the lane and George stepped in to force him to take a shot. As DeRozan took the shot with his right hand, he elbowed George out of the way with his left arm, hitting George right in the nose.

The game was stopped while trainers came out to tend to George's bloody nose. DeRozan not only was called for an offensive foul, but was assessed a flagrant 1 after the referees reviewed the replay.
George returned to the game in the fourth quarter and played extremely well, scoring 8 of his 19 points, including this clutch shot:

George added 12 rebounds and 8 assists as the Clippers beat the Spurs 108-105.
