Detroit Red Wings left winger Tyler Bertuzzi and center Andreas Athanasiou entertained themselves (and their fans) by juggling the puck in the air with their sticks during pregame warmups prior to Monday night's game against Philadelphia.
Athanasiou got things going by flipping it to Bertuzzi, and they took turns bouncing it on their sticks and flipping it back and forth to each other.
Bertuzzi even used his foot to keep the puck in the air for a few extra seconds before they dropped it. Overall, Bertuzzi and Athanasiou managed to keep the puck in the air for nearly 25 seconds. That's impressive.

NFL tight end Vernon Davis announced his retirement from professional football on Sunday.
The news was a bit of a surprise, but the way Davis decided to make his announcement was even more surprising. He revealed the news in a title sequence to a "Golden Girls"-type sketch with Rob Gronkowski and James Harrison during the FOX Super Bowl pregame festivities.
At the beginning of the sketch, which only lasts for about a minute, Gronkowski introduces Harrison and Davis as part of his "retirement crew". When Davis is introduced, he says "That's right. I'm retiring."
The rest of the skit is pretty silly, with the highlight being Harrison pushing Gronkowski into a pool.
Davis was a member of the Washington Redskins for the last four seasons, but missed most of last season with a concussion. He is best known for his time with the San Francisco 49ers, where he spent nine-and-a-half seasons. He also played for the Denver Broncos for nine games during the 2015 season.
We wish Davis well in his retirement.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt hosted this week's episode of Saturday Night Live where he put his comedy skills to the test.
The most hilarious sketch of the night had to be Watt playing it straight as he recorded some out-of-character dialogue for the EA Sports Madden 21 video game.
Watt is known for his All-Pro football skills and serves as a role model off the field, so it was surprising to hear him record lines such as:
"Dangit! He outsmarted me!"
"Oops!"
"Whoopsies!"
"Captain Clumsy strikes again!"
"God, I SUCK today!"
"Y'all see that sack? I hope our quarterback's OK. This other team is good!"
And don't get us started about Watt taunting a boy in a wheelchair.
The sketch also features a hysterical avatar of Watt that has a pierced belly button and a face that looks like it took a beating from Mike Tyson. Of course, they had to make Watt's touchdown celebration the "floss".

Friday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live featured the latest NFL edition of Mean Tweets. Players featured this time around include Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Corey Clement, Joey Bosa, Devin Funchess, Sony Michel, Todd Gurley, Jay Ajayi, Clay Matthews, Jared Goff, Michael Irvin & Terry Bradshaw.
WARNING: There is inappropriate language in this video. Although it is censored, this is not for the kids.
We can only imagine what mean tweets Patriots fans will send Tom Brady if he ends up leaving New England. We're not convinced that it will happen, but we shall see.

Jimmy Fallon joked about the Kansas City Chiefs mascot and their quarterback Patrick Mahomes during the "Thank You Notes" segment of Friday's episode of The Tonight Show.
"Thank you, Kansas City Chiefs mascot K.C. Wolf, for looking less like a wolf and more like a New York City subway rat on bath salts."
Must be the googly eyes.
"Thank you, Patrick Mahomes, for having the last name that sounds like a lame dad trying to relate to his son's friends. What's up, m'homes? You all tickin' the tock?"

A group of cute puppies picked the winner of Super Bowl LIV on Friday's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
12 puppies had to choose between two bowls of kibble, one representing the San Francisco 49ers and the other representing the Kansas City Chiefs. The winner of Super Bowl LIV would be the bowl that gets the most puppies.
It was a very close contest, but by a very slight margin, the San Francisco 49ers were picked the winners.

New York Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton shoved Memphis Grizzlies small forward Jae Crowder, triggering a scuffle between the two teams in the final minute of Wednesday night's game at Madison Square Garden.
After the Grizzlies hit a 3-pointer to increase their lead to 124-106, Knicks guard Julius Randle threw a nonchalant inbounds pass to Payton. As Payton wasn't completely paying attention, Crowder stole the ball and dribbled to the corner. As he took a 3-pointer, Randle shoved him down in front of the front row seats.
Crowder got up and shoved Payton as players ran towards the scuffle while officials and security tried to keep the players separated. Knicks forward Marcus Morris Sr. shoved Grizzlies guard Ja Morant during the scuffle, but fortunately it was kept under control. No players from either team left the bench.
Payton was assessed a flagrant 2 foul, resulting in an automatic ejection. Crowder was also tossed along with Morris. Knicks guard Damyean Dotson and Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas also received technical fouls.
